Regenerative Blowers
All-Star is the only major North American supplier to verify their published blower performance ratings by testing them in accordance with the leading American National Standards Institute standard ANSI/AMCA 210-85 Laboratory test procedures. This test standard guarantees your blower performance will meet our published performance values.
Competitive manufacturers use in-house test standards.
All-Star guarantees that the blower you purchase meets our published performance values.

Straddle Mounted Impeller Design
Radial & axial loads that occur in competitive blowers are virtually eliminated in the All-Star design because of the straddle-mounted bearing design.
Overhung loads are eliminated in the All-Star Products design due to the blower-side bearing located between the impeller and the compressor housing on the blower side.
Re-greaseable Blower Bearing
All-Star is the only company that offers zerk fillings (on select models) on critical blowerend bearings.
This grease fitting and relief plug assure this bearing can easily and quickly be re-lubricated in the field without disassembly. Available on RBH8 series and larger single-stage models and RBH33 series and larger two-stage models.
Competitive blowers require complete or partial disassembly to lubricate the blowerside bearing.
HOw Do Regenerative Blowers Work and What Can They Do for You?
Regenerative blowers are a type of blower that uses a high-speed impeller to handle pressure & vacuum applications with a medium-rated load.
Other types of blowers operate on a piston or lobe system. Regenerative blowers have a different way of operating. They use a centrifugal design to create a higher volume of airflow. They ingest air through the intake port. This air is drawn and then rapidly transmitted via the impeller blades. The impeller blades accelerate the air outward and forward, pushed out in a centrifugal action. This also creates a vacuum, increasing the amount of air drawn into the system.
Regenerative blowers are used in various industries. They are used in wastewater treatment, pneumatic conveying, vacuum blister-packaging, and more. They are important for providing a large volume of airflow for pressure and suction for vacuum applications. They are used in many industrial processes required for reliable medium pressure and medium vacuum load processes. Furthermore, they are quieter and require less maintenance than other types of blowers.
Popular Applications for Regenerative Blowers
Regenerative blowers are also known as side channel and ring blowers. They are widely used in many industrial processes and have many applications. They are suitable for aeration and drying, as well as vacuum conveyance.
Regenerative blowers are also used for material handling applications. They are also used for air tube systems, where a combination of air pressure and vacuum is required. Regenerative blowers in particular are sought after for conveying systems. They are highly effective in pushing or pulling materials through a transportation medium.
